Senior Demand & Supply Planner

Bosco Agnald R

Every SKU, right on time.

How I work

Supply chains don’t fail at the warehouse. They fail at the planning table.

Five years across manufacturing, FMCG and retail distribution in the UAE and India. I turn demand signals into replenishment decisions, keep production supplied, and build the Power BI reporting that shows it working. Along the way I have worked with the supply chain teams of Unilever, Johnson & Johnson, Almarai and Dabur.

Planning Lab

Reorder point simulator.

Safety stock and reorder points are the parameters I set for raw materials, packaging and critical spares. Change the inputs and watch 120 days of simulated stock respond, or switch to Beat my plan and plan a Gulf season.

Lead time is fixed, so safety stock covers demand variability only, and it is rounded up to a whole unit. Daily demand follows a normal distribution, and the same random draws are reused as you change the inputs so each change is comparable. Unmet demand is lost, not backordered.

EGMA Ophthalmic lens manufacturer · Dubai · Apr 2025 – Present

Keeping lens production supplied across about 20,000 SKUs.

  • −12%Stock discrepancies, first quarter
  • +15%Order readiness, first quarter

Business challenge.

An ophthalmic lens manufacturer needs raw materials, packaging and critical spares on hand before production calls for them. Across about 20,000 SKUs on Dynamics 365 F&O, inaccurate stock records or late replenishment quickly become production risk.

My contribution.

I own demand forecasting and the replenishment parameters for these materials (safety stock, reorder points and min-max), run inbound logistics and customs clearance, and lead planning alignment with Production, Procurement, Sales, Finance, QC and Logistics.

Approach and tools.

Analyzed sales trends, demand variability and consumption patterns, including critical spares and consumables. Standardized planning and warehouse routines with Lean and 5S. Built automated Power BI dashboards on SQL and DAX for inventory accuracy, fulfillment performance and replenishment effectiveness.

Measured outcome.

Within my first quarter in the role, stock discrepancies fell 12% and order readiness improved 15%.

Business value.

More reliable stock records and readier orders protect production continuity, and the dashboards improved operational visibility for faster decisions.

Measured over my first quarter at EGMA.

ALPLA Middle East Dubai · Jun 2024 – Jan 2025

Shorter material lead times for global FMCG clients.

  • −10%Material lead times
  • ZeroStockouts across client portfolios

Business challenge.

FMCG clients including Unilever, Johnson & Johnson, Dabur and Almarai needed materials to arrive in step with their production schedules and GCC export plans, without supply gaps.

My contribution.

I ran end-to-end supply chain operations for these clients: inventory governance, warehouse scheduling, and aligning production planning with each client’s demand patterns.

Approach and tools.

WMS analytics on days inventory outstanding, turnover, capacity and forecasts. Closer supplier collaboration and data-driven scheduling. Inbound and outbound logistics coordinated against regional export plans.

Measured outcome.

Material lead times came down 10%, with zero stockouts across the client portfolios during my time in the role.

Business value.

Shorter, more dependable lead times mean materials arrive before production needs them, which protects each client’s delivery schedule.

Achieved together with suppliers and the planning team, Jun 2024 – Jan 2025.

98% OTIF from one distribution center to 400+ stores.

  • 98%OTIF across 50,000+ SKUs
  • −15%Order turnaround time
  • +25%Space utilization

Business challenge.

One 200,000 sq ft distribution center held USD 92M (₹772 Cr) of inventory across 50,000+ SKUs and supplied 400+ retail stores. Space, pick paths and dispatch had to keep pace with store demand.

My contribution.

Joined as a Graduate Trainee and progressed to SCM Operational Executive. I led and coached 40+ associates and coordinators across inbound, inventory and outbound, directed daily shift operations and owned the operational KPIs.

Approach and tools.

Root-cause analysis on inventory accuracy and dispatch. Pick-path optimization, bin layout changes and TMS-supported route planning. Kaizen and Kanban layout improvements. Cross-training, daily Gemba walks and frontline problem solving.

Measured outcome.

98% OTIF across 50,000+ SKUs. Order turnaround time down 15%, space utilization up 25%, on-time delivery up 20% and inventory holding cost down 11%.

Business value.

Stores received what they ordered, on time and in full, from the same footprint and at a lower holding cost.

Results of the 40+ person team I led.
